@yukinoh1989 Your evee looks so great !
my first sculpture was a complete mess compare to yours x)
I cant realy help with the texture cause i’m using procedural textures for my sculpts most of the time.

Can i ask you how you made the texture for the eyes? its very pretty ๐Ÿ™‚
And one little tip for you: Evee has white fur on the end of his tail.
You can see if it’s a male or a female according to this white fur: here are some images to illustrate what i mean ^^

          This is a Evee male

This is a Evee femalesee the difference? ๐Ÿ˜‰
Good luck to you yukino ! you’re very good at sculpting and modeling in general ! ๐Ÿ™‚

I can’t really see what happen with your picture.

The mirror modifier use the origin point to create a symetry of your model according to the axis you choose.
So… be sure your origin is put at the right place and Apply any rotation/scale you could have done with CTRL+A.
Maybe it can help, otherwise don’t hesit to put another picture of your scene to see what is goin on here =)

                      Week 3 Homework submission

Hello i already posted my melvin on sketchfab months ago… Here is the link: https://skfb.ly/6vSGn

For this week i tried to do the melvin again with the primitives and…. an elephant !
Yes it wasn’t asked but… at the begining i wanted to create a scene with melvin and an elephant i thought i can add the human and the primitives after…
However…i badly manadged my time for this submission so… Here is the result (far from what i’ve done for the others weeks)
I think i’ll do better next week.

I’ve noticed a little problem with shadows in 2.8… they are a little bit tricky here… I dont know why but the shadow of the elephant and the cone are… Under the “ground”… I dont know why :/

@ullreym Thanks for yor feedback =)
I think this is the most important lesson i’ve learned during this week: Learn something NEW at every work.
The more i know how to create what i want, the less time i spend to learn how to do it !

I think it’s the key to become better to almost anything…

                                  @thecabbagedetective Thanks a lot Aaron ^^
I try to do my best in every project i make and its strange to realize that i can model more faster than before…
In january i took a entire week to make this sword.
Today: it took me 6 days to make this sword PLUS all this background.
                                  And… i’m sure i can do even better… xD
I just need some time to practice and improve again ^^’
