“The Glossy and Anisotropic BSDF were merged into a single Glossy BSDF with anisotropy control. When opening files saved in 4.0 in older versions, all “Glossy BSDF” nodes will show up as Anisotropic BSDF nodes.”

It’s been merged to declutter the whole menu. So you’re right on track 🙂

Thanks to you, the great teachers at CG Cookie, who make this place what it is. I’ve only been here for a couple of weeks after following on YT for some time, but I already know I made the right choice and enjoy the courses.

What keeps me going is the hope to someday get out of my current profession and full time into 3D. I started using Blender about 18 months ago for designing and planning my companies projects for clients but struggle with getting past a certain point (boxy objects). Thought youtube etc would be enough but without any real structure and varying times to do stuff it doesn’t seem to work. So I figured I give this a go, since I enjoyed the vids on youtube.

Plus so far I haven’t been part of a community so I’m looking forward to that experience. 🙂
