Hi @theluthier, I can see a few people in the report card got a C for vehicle choice. Is this for submissions that didn’t have blueprints? I didn’t want to make my post too long, so I hid them behind a link. But maybe the Cs are for something else I missed?

I already submitted a blueprint image in Week 1 homework, but I was wondering if it is okay to work on the Concept Car from Milen Ivanov instead.

Homework Submission Week 1:

My apologies for this extremely late post but Here’s my submission of the small plane model.

I was unable to get to the modelling with primitives exercise.

The car I’ll attempt to model for this class is the mini cooper. Blueprints below.

@theluthier  After yesterday stream I am going lighting fast with modeling the car, picked up quite a few modeling tips that are making all the difference in the world. And after watching you start to model your car, I immediately saw what I was doing wrong and now the topology doesn’t look so mushy and muddy. Still not perfect but it’s going so much better now, thanks!

Hey kent is there any intention of making a class on shading cars or vehicles in  general?

@shiennar Yes, I gave C’s to submissions that didn’t have blueprints but did state a vehicle of choice. It’s just a technicality for standardizing/measuring XP. I went back and checked your submission and indeed you did post a link! My bad, I just missed it. Grade updated 👍
