      @jack07 Blue prints are ideal for modeling vehicles, whereas they’re less ideal for character modeling. If you can make blueprints for these toys, that’d be awesome!

          @williamatics Very cool. I’ll always have a soft spot for WWII tech 🤘

            I’m calling dibs! I was thinking this would be about medium difficulty. After looking at tons of reference I was totally wrong, but I’m up for the challenge! I will use some blue prints, that I’ve gotten the artist’s permission to use (not from the original designer) for the base shape, in conjunction with some screen shots/online images for the detailing. I’m not sure how all the copy-write stuff works so….

            Tron Legacy is a Walt Disney Pictures production 🙂

              @zachzellman That looks more like a hard difficulty.  I can only dream of doing something like that.

                @zachzellman I’d say a medium to advanced difficulty – somewhere in between. Getting the curvy surfaces right is probably going to be the hardest part rather than a bunch of fine details like in some vehicles. This will be very cool to see modeled!

                  @theluthier You’re right about the curves.  I tried to model a car, but I gave up because the curves were hard to get right and I don’t even like cars.

                    Mmm, interesting classes. I am more oriented to modeling a classic car. For me is more interesting to model something that is not seen nowadays.

                      @calmadigital Like spaceships?

                        @williamatics Classic cars. Cars for XIX century or first half of XX century.

                          @calmadigital But spaceships aren’t seen nowadays.  (I was joking.)

                            @calmadigital I see where you’re coming from – makes sense. You have a classic car in mind that you’d like to model for the class?

                              I want to model that tank without blueprints.  Will I learn how to do that?

                                @williamatics I won’t be teaching that specifically. That approach makes the process more difficult and should only be taken if you absolutely cannot get blueprints/modeling sheets. You should be able to find some good options on the google.

                                  @williamatics I did not see the smiley 😉
