@carrotnl Absolutely you can post multiple submissions. I take that into account as bonus points, like A+ instead of A. Or even A++ has happened before 😱

@theluthier Oke, that’s nice. I hope I make it. I have kind of a busy weekend.

Here’s how my new week 1 project is evolving. It’s still a work in progress:

@carrotnl Wow, this looks amazing already! Great composition and lots of details. How did you make the scarf?

@smurfmier1985 I made the scarf from 1 Torus and 4 uv-sphere’s; 2 for the knot, and 2 stretched ones for the ends.

@carrotnl You can’t tell that you used those, looks like an actual scarf. Thanks for sharing 😊

@yukinoh1989 Those are indeed ico spheres, but they are no rocks. Maybe the next work in progress screenshot will make thing clearer 😃 :

Week 1 – Homework Submission – Modeling with Primitives (2)

In this submission I used no modifiers. It was completely done in 2.8, and in Eevee. I tried to keep everything organised in collections, though I might have lost track a little bit in the end, but I’m not sure.

Some where talking about making your image story driven. I liked that, and wanted to try that too:

                            Ready! Finally.

I’m all sweaty, but when they come home, they’ll really appreciate it. Now they can enter their warm and cozy home. And I’ll stand watch out here. It wouldn’t surprise me if there’s gonna fall some more snow tonight. Who knows, maybe they’ll make me a nice friend. Being out here, alone, is NOT cool.

                            – story written by Petra Wilbrink (my wife; I’m not such a good writer) and translated by me –

Here’s a link to the blendfile.

-edit – After @silentheart00 mentioned putting some clouds in (a few post further), I decided to do so. At first I thought it would be to much. I wanned to keep it a bit clean, but he was right. So here’s the second render with clouds:

@carrotnl Beautiful! I like that you we’re inspired by a story, and I think it’s pretty cool your wife wrote this. Family effort 😊 I like this one even better than the birdhouse. Great composition, great atmosphere, good color choices and lots of nice things to look at. Love it ❤

Oh my…. What a lovely scene, truly. Love the log cabin. You even left a few spots of snow for him to clean up – nice touch. This is just wonderful all around
