I’ve gone a bit further with this beautiful lady ๐
I did another pass on the face and made the brave decision to break symmetry now – that always makes me nervous! I added the ears and tried to capture the eyes a bit better. As is normally the case going from 2D to 3D, I can’t quite get things to match 100% (the far cheek showing for example) – but it’s close-ish, I think! I’ll do another pass here for sure.
I also spent a bit of time on the hat, noticing that it looks like she sat on the end? ๐
Her dress needs some attention, so I’m working on that at the moment but failing, I’ll keep trying though!
@beefkeef This graceful young beauty is for sure cooking a delicious soup ๐๐๐คฃ! It’s looking great already ๐๐!
Haha thanks @duerer she is a young beauty indeed!! ๐
you are more than welcome to taste some of her soup, goodness knows what she’s been cooking up !!!! ๐
Only a tiny bit of progress today, I just joined the parts of her dress together and quickly sculpted some shapes. I think I can just go about and add more detail now across the whole model so that will be my next goal.
Also need to think about the smoke coming from the cauldron, can I sculpt that? looks like it could be hard! or is it better to use a smoke simulation perhaps?
Oh, and some hair would help too – will do that after the sculpting is done!

Just a little progress again today!
I decided this would be a good point to remesh some of my model parts and start using the multires modifier to allow me some higher level of detail.
Then I’ve made another pass and added some creases to her clothing. Also added some smaller details to the hat and the cauldron.
I went over that pretty face again ๐ and just polished it up a bit. and added a couple of warts on her nose – they need hairs later.
I think next I should improve the teeth, add some finger nails and polish the hands some more.

Adding the beauty spot made all the difference,
And she can cook,
Wow, what a woman!
She looks soooo good!
Which sculpting workflow do you use?
@adrian2301 haha yes, she has talent as well as beauty! Not sure I’d trust anything she was cooking tbh ๐
@fide thanks Fide! It’s just the good old dyntopo sculpting to get most of the shapes that I want, then I’ll remesh with Quad remesher (that’s a paid add-on but very useful imo).
Then I’ll add a multi-res modifier to the new all quad mesh, subdivide it a few times and carry on sculpting some higher details.
I think that I’m finished with the sculpting part of this model now.
I went over the hands again and added some finger nails here, and also improved the teeth a bit. It was also getting a bit draughty under that skirt so I added in some under garments – nothing fancy as I don’t expect them to be seen tbh.
I used some curves with a modified bevel to try and capture the smoke coming from the pot, I wasn’t too sure if that would work – but I do quite like the way it looks.
I’m starting to think about her beautiful, flowing hair now! I just very quickly added an eyebrow so I can play around with a few settings and try to figure out what I need to do!

@beefkeef thank you ๐
Very nice! I like the expressiveness in the hands, especially with the nails. I like where you’re going with the smoke too, its a cool style, lotsa volume. Looking forward to seeing the rest of it develop.
@jammingammon Thanks so much for the comment I appreciate it! I’m always struggling a bit when it comes to sculpting hands and feet, to me they seem the one of the hardest parts to get looking right – so I’m glad to hear you think they looks good! ๐๐
Here’s an update on Miss Beauty. And wow, doesn’t she get prettier by the day๐
I’ve added three hair systems, one for the eyebrows, another for the main head of hair and finally another for the long back hair. I’ve actually found this part to be quite time consuming, as it’s mostly a case of tweaking a few sliders in the hair settings and then render it out to take a look at it. Not the best workflow I’m sure!
I think it’s getting there though, I can probably groom the back hairs a little more for some more variation.
My next goal is to think about abou
t retopology and some UV-unwrapping – will post again in a month or two….. ๐คช

And also, here is a render that went a bit wrong but it did make me laugh, not sure what happened here..
Its her eyes that do it for me!
The way she is looking at me, thinking ‘I know what I would like to do to you’
Probably throw me in her cauldron.
I think her spell may have gone wrong in the last render.
It is always great to get another notification from this thread.
Neat one, Keith! And that hairy one really sets the mood)
