It’s a modern mouse, the forearm plates bands have Velcro 🙂

I have no idea how to rig this dude, I hope your upcoming course will explain it all and that I don’t have to start all over again.

The normal map baking doesn’t really work to well. My sculptured sleeve looks nicer than the low poly mesh 🙁

Me is painting now, I’m this far. Gonna take a while, but x-mas holydays are coming up, so I have the time.

Hope you will release your rigging course soon so I can pose this guy.

            Hi Dolores,

Sorry for the late repply, I was on vacation, was great 🙂
Whenever you waont to check out a normal map it’s better to add a bit of glossy to your shader.
A pure white and overexposed diffuse won’t give good justice to it 🙂

Plus, with the upcoming texture painting and shading you should be able to boost this 😉

Beware that your character has a very tight A-Pose that will be painfull to rig.

When you have finished modeling, try to rotate the arms at least 45° from the body :).

              WTF!

That’s some colourfull dude… I’m not a big fan of the “40” font and shadow casting you have used on the shirt while, strengely (cause I’m kind of a black and white dude) I really enjoy the colours and textures you have used.

              That’s very refreshing.

Please try to rework the 40 so that it is betterly integrated to the Cobra, You should do it by hand instead of using a font I think. Just think of the energy you’ve put in this model, that would be a bummer not to be perfectionnist at the very end.

              Happy new year BTW

Thank God you were on holiday, I thought you were death !

Never been good with colors. I gave it a try when I was younger but gave up. Painting is an art on its own. Being a solo 3D artist is kind of a problem, you have to be an expert in modeling, rigging, texturing and animating. With this little painting skill I have I am pretty happy with the 40 his colors. A true painter, of course, will see all the mistakes.

Cool, you like my brother 🙂

I made the 40 like this because of your course to learn as much as possible. I don’t think this is going to be his definite look, animating all of this will be insane.

So, while you were enjoying your holiday, I’ve been kinda busy myself. Here’s my sister the ‘47’.  Because I am the 74, 47 has to be my twin opposite. Me is a playful teenager, she is a ninja. (Still working on her weapons). As you can see, she did some more work outs.

I found DanPro his tail rigging tutorial, awesome.

(How do you guys use the @ to adress an other member as in the previous forum ? Can’t find how to do it.)

I’m kinda impatiently waiting for your rigging course 🙂 And you also have a texture painting course rolling off the conveyor belt soon ?

Is there a chinees on this forum ? I Googled it, it should read ‘Dolores’.
