Righto, last one.  Added Fresnel to all elements. Good result. Ended up added a glossy clamp of 2.5 to remove fireflys from wheel hubs. Moved the roughness up on the wheels and found the result alot better. Thanks for the help guys

@sparkes983 Hey, there you go!  Reminds me of plastic, maybe duller than the other submissions, but it works.  Good job.

Kudos for applying the feedback @sparkes983. The new / modified environment texture in the daytime window is working much better. And I (of course) like the warmer lamps in the nighttime scene. I’d say push em further in saturation even. For years I was afraid of saturating light too much; not really sure why. Not to say that’s you but if it is, do not fear saturated lamps 🙂

Solid toy truck progression too 👍

Thanks to to some feedback from Miranda, I checked some of the settings. AO and shadows were enabled, however the specular settings were not enough to allow reflections. The overall surface is too shiny, but better. The settings for the textures in the colour ramp were changed to make a better surface. The scale on the bumper and a couple othe pieces in the texture settings were adjusted. Getting there.

                Hey Guys,

Thought I had mixed results here. some good points, I was happy with the car paint and colours. Some of the interior was cool to play with. Thanks from the input from you guys, helped alot. I ran out of time for the lighting match. A quick, easy one is what I thought I picked. Aparently it all takes time. Definetly will spend more time on this

Just a quick note .I Stuggled to get as much “ambient” light as Kent was achieving with only the HDRI enabled. Had to dial the strength right up and made the scene unbearable. Did anyone else have trouble? Using a Windows build. Updated almost daily

OK, reading through a couple of submissions, people (like me) having trouble with the whole World HDRI lighting. Miranda, again, suggests just adding a Sun as a solution. And I had the following results. Cheers

@sparkes983 Nice, now we see the reflections on the floor. You’re improving with each render, great job! 😄

@sparkes983 hey really great work. One thing I do notice is that with the match the shadow left is really sharp, while right it’s more blending out in the background. Not sure if you can make the shadow sharper too but still like I said before awesome work. Love you’re car too

@yukinoh1989 Hey Friend, Thanks for the feedback. I actually did try and sharpen it a little in the colour match, there are definitely enough settings to play with. I’ll take another look. Cheers

i am not sure but if i remember correctly the shadow’s change depending on how close or far youre lamps are .
and i think also if there are other lights pointing in that direction. but you sure did amazing good 😀

@sparkes983 You’re super close with your light match! Only nitpicky note is that your shadows are softer than the original, though I like yours better. Did you sculpt the model or is it a 3D scan? Looks good regardless – A from me.

Your vehicle render is especially shiny. From the colored-chrome of the car paint to the glossy ground and emphasized by the bloom, it’s yeah, shiny. With that in mind it’s not overly realistic or believable but it also looks like you had fun in Eevee! It’s a B from me. Keep up the good work 👍
