Here’s the hard drive following the tutorial! A lot of these methods were so much more efficient then what I initially did. The big takeaways were using the array modifier for the holes, where I initially just did a checker deselect and extruded inwards, and also just using the solidify modifier for a clean and adjustable shell. Also using the text rather then trying to model the B by hand is way better.

Took an attempt at the hard drive before watching the tutorial for it, though I got pretty lazy with the B at the end. I used mostly boolean modifiers and some bevels for the main form. I think seeing the “solution” will be very helpful, since this was kinda challenging trying to approach this on my own.

I made a cologne bottle to practice the bevel modifier! On the dispenser and cap I used two bevel modifiers, one that is just around the edges that creates the inward slope, and then one that adds a small bevel to everything. The image on the right is with all the modifiers disabled.

This will be a good one to revisit when I dive into materials, and also when I get some more insight into a good way to get a circle where the dispenser would spray out, which right now I just left as a square.
