Any 3rd party Addons you’re using?

Are you using the same corrective release?

Could it be a Graphics driver issue?

I don’t believe I have any 3rd party add ons. I’ll provide a photo of the add ons I have enabled below.

I downloaded. 3.6.14 to see if that might change anything but it did not. I have 3.5, 3.6, 4.0 and 4.2 and they all behave the same. 3.0 is the only one where it performs correctly.

Graphics Driver, I updated recently but I can see if there are any new updates. I am inexperienced with most of these things. Is there a way to troubleshoot the graphics driver to check for irregularities?

I opened it with Blender 4.2 and was like oohhh, then I said let me open it with Blender 4.0 and was like ohhh it’s the same. So I got this both times with 4.2 and 4.0

But then I said let me open the file with 4.1, just to see what happens and got this:

No line with some versions, a line with other versions. So it’s definitely a how each version of Blender works thing.

@racerrex , your Addons are fine.

I don’t know what’s happening…probably not a GPU driver issue, because then there wouldn’t be in-between versions that are good and otherss bad, like Omar experienced.

Oh, I  found a Version with that line on my computer:

It’s a mystery to me.

I’d suggest you just stick with a Version that works for you and move on; there is probably nothing you can do about it.

Thats really interesting that Omar and I are getting the error with 4.2 but Martin and Adrian are not. Glad to hear I’m not losing my mind lol. Perhaps it has something to do with a difference in hardware. Some difference in the way our machines are interpreting the code. I agree, I guess I’ll stick with 3.0 or see if I can find a later release that might work. Thank you Martin, Omar and Adrian. I really appreciate you guys all coming together to help me find a solution. It’s very comforting to know there is such a great community on here willing to support each other. Again, thank you very much.
