      @michallis Would you mind providing a download link to your .blend? I’d like to take a look a closer look at the model; see what I can see.

        @louhikarme Looking good so far! Definitely feeling like a ratrod body. Is your subsurf modifier before your mirror modifier?

          @charmn-one That truck! I’ve never seen anything like that. Such a unique design. Though I think the yacht would make for a more interesting final visual..it’s up to you though. Indeed given the scale of the yacht, multiple interior rooms, it’d be a beast to model it all. For this class if you just did the bridge/control room I’d count it. The power (choice) is yours!

            @theluthier My airplane so far:

            I can’t get the stupid circle to project properly onto the nose cone, though.  It just sits out in space, mocking me.

              @theluthier it was the merge checkbox unchecked. 🙂

                @theluthier Oh, that cylinder wasn’t supposed to be selected during export 🙂 Thanks, I will fix it if needed by next homework.

                  @vlado159 No need to fix for homework purposes. Just my inner nerd letting you know 🤓

                    CLASS ANNOUNCEMENT #3 (June 11, 2018)

                    Week 1 is done! Thanks for getting your homework submitted on time. Here’s a link to the report card if you’d like to keep track of your grades throughout the class. I’m known to make mistakes so if you see that I overlooked an assignment/part of an assignment from you don’t hesitate to let me know.

                      @theluthier Kent thanks for the grades, kept the fingers crossed in such a hard topic like this month, but it seems BC3-1806 – June Class brought around the same number of homework submissions for Week1 so definitely success

                      Guys you are great, if someones still would like to join to the Class, presumably could slip in yet so just bravely 🙂

                        @dostovel without the sub-surf is in the first picture, I have a strange quad ‘blue circle’. I want to make the carving steeper, so do I have to add already supporting loops?

                          @theluthier sorry, not used to the community yet. Is the XP reflecting the result, or is this the XP of cgcookie?

                          thank you

                            @williamatics Well that was the other half of the coin.  I wanted something that I thought I had a chance of actually completing in the assigned time; but I also didn’t want to choose something I could simply phone in, because then what is the point of taking the class?  I think I chose a happy medium.

                            Interestingly, it’s not a problem I ran into at all when choosing a subject for the character sculpting class in March.  It seems I’m far more confident in my sculpting skills than in my edge modeling skills, heh.

                              @silentheart00 u don’t need to do that.
                              all u have to do is to select a face, press W and “LoopTools” and choose circle, when u extrude that face inward or outward it will give u the desired shape.
                              U have to enable to addon tho (LoopTools)

                                I like the human scaling you’ve got there.  Good idea.

                                  @theluthier Kent,

                                  I saw the template, before I looked up the truck.  Hmmm decisions, decisions.

                                  Got the template on https://drawingdatabase.com for anyone looking for
