@straocastus I wish our system was more official, but mostly it’s just show up 🙂 When you RSVP to live events I get a list of the people planning to attend, so that’s sort of like reserving a spot. But like Miranda said, there’s never been a limit on these classes.

@straocastus Actually it’s a bigger event then you might have thought, the venue is big, sometimes people stay lurking in the shadows,  there’s fireworks before the streams starts, a countdown clock was implemented recently, you can ask all the questions you want, Kent riffs the guitar and better of all, the room has air conditioning.

This Class is officially IN SESSION!

With Blender 2.8 in the final stages of release I think it makes sense that the class happens as scheduled, meaning today is the first official day. WAHOO this is going to be fun 🙂

If you’re asking yourself “So what should I be doing today?” here’s your answer: Double check the syllabus (description at the top of this thread) and start watching the treasure chest course as it’s intended to be your education foundation of the class. If you’ve already watched it then you’re ahead of the curve and can relax for tomorrow’s stream. I will go over the class format in detail at the beginning of the stream.

It’s been a year (wow, has it really…) since doing a class and I’m very excited to be starting one again! I will be active and present in this thread and the soon-to-come homework threads for the duration of the class, so if you have questions don’t hesitate to ask in this thread.

We’re in this together for the next 3 weeks! See you all tomorrow for the stream 👀

@theluthier I realized that all the scenes and models we’re making for the demo reel came out of your livestreams classes. The toyota I first modeled for a class, the black car came straight out of the class, the Heli I made the first update for a class once, the apartment and kitchen were also for a class that was about lighting an interior scene and I hope I could use other scenes that were also made for this livestreams classes…. this classes have been most productive Kent, thanks.
