      THUS ENDETH THE CLASS

      This has been an action-packed 3 weeks! BC1-1908 is officially the biggest class yet with the highest live stream attendance, most homeworks submitted, as well as highest homework completion rate. I can’t measure this, but the general learning atmosphere was especially electric this month. More people were helping each other, posting tips / tricks they discovered, along with workflow insight. On top of that some incredible 3D art was created!

      It’s been an absolute pleasure being your instructor and I hope each of you can say your Blender skills took a leap forward.

      Commitment: One of my favorite characteristics of this particular class is its commitment level which proved higher than any class before: 79% of participants that submitted week 1 homework submitted all 3 weeks, beating out the former highest percentage of 65%. That’s nuts especially considering this month also had the highest homework submission volume to date. Here’s to perseverance!πŸ‘

      Here’s the list of people that submitted homework every week:

      Volunteer Assistants: Once more I want to draw attention to the VA’s. In addition to participating as students, each of you stepped up and committed your time and effort to be a consistent, helpful presence for your peers. As a result confusion was resolved, technical issues troubleshooted, constructive criticism given, and encouragement shared. CG Cookie Classes would not be successful without you. THANK YOU:

      XP Flood Warning in effect: Today I will be manually adding class XP points to everyone’s account. That’s 6580 points in total! Yikes, I’m going to have to get a loan with Gringotts to pay that out…

        I would be too scared to ask those goblins for a loan though, they don’t look like the giving type…

          @theluthier That is so beautifully formatted summary Kent, you have artistic eyes even for this.

          You know from class to class I brought these statistics that who were the best students in CGC Classes, feeling this as a very interesting aspect and that was such a neat list through five sessions:

          BC1-1801 – January Class – Katerina Novakova ( Sshiennar ) – 190 XP
          BC2-1803 – March Class – Matthew Ullrey ( ullreym ) – 180 XP
          BC3-1806 – June Class – Aaron Rudderham ( thecabbagedetective ) – 178 XP
          BC1-1808 – August Class – Miranda van Elst & Aaron Rudderham ( smurfmier1985 & thecabbagedetective ) – 195 XP
          BC4-1810 – October Class – Pavel Mazanik ( nekronavt ) – 176 XP

          But when checked it now for BC1-1908 – August Class, so who was the best student? πŸ™‚

          Well, hard to believe it in so colorful combinations of the 135 XP like 40+45+50 or 45+45+45 or 40+50+45 etc. you can see in the table, but ten best students finished on the top πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

          So just nothing stayed but congratulating of course for the winners, while my idea about a Hall of Fame when in the official class system once the web developer would add our history, that surely became much harder or impossible with the  BC1-1908 results πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ But okay no probs, the life wanted like this and it is nice like that πŸ™‚
