@nekronavt I didn’t know it either when I joined CG Cookie, also came for prerecorded content. Maybe @theluthier should think of a way to promote / highlight it more then, since it is so awesome to join a class / workshop, and since watching live streams is so much fun 😬😃
B.t.w. that’s a lot of posts!! well done on communication, feedback, encouregement and fun conversations guys!! 😄
@yukinoh1989 Oh no, you fainted recently from too much brain activity? Wow, yeah take it easier please. Really hope the class didn’t push you there 😳
If you keep watching the Piero course, I model the eye in 2 parts: an outter sphere and an inner sphere with a concave iris (like your Eevee). That more closely resembles actual [human] eyes and usually turns out best in a render.
AHH MAN – I linked to the wrong questionnaire @smurfmier1985! Here’s the CORRECT QUESTIONNAIRE. I’ve since updated the link to the original post’s link and the link at the top of this thread’s description.

I’m sorry to ask again, but I’m quite keen on your answers. Would you mind filling out the correct one again 🙏 (As far as I can tell, these peeps have filled out the wrong one – again, very sorry)
@theluthier No, I think the name “Workshop” is more awesome. What I mean is that I’m primarily doing this as a hobby. I don’t ever plan to work in the industry because I entered 3d so that I could express myself, not so that I could express my director/client.
I filled out the correct survey.
I subscribed to CGCookie for prerecorded courses, but here is where gold was buried!
LOVE to hear this! While I’m going to be shifting more of my effort toward pre-recorded courses in 2019, this class workshop is still where my heart is. Thanks for joining in this month.
PPS: 2765 posts on this thread + all homework threads if I counted right. And it’s 216,86% of previous class thread.
That’s nuts! I’d been wondering what that math was but hadn’t calculated it. We be talking 😎
PS: Thanks for the error find. I fixed Zsolt’s username mention. I’m a scrub.
@theluthier Did it for you 😊
Wanted to express a wish, forget to say it in the questionnaire. As a hardsurface modeling option you give the ‘vehicle modeling’, which is pretty cool and I would totally join that workshop. But, what I would loooovvveeee even more is ‘sci-fi / robot modeling’ …. 😀😉
@theluthier hey thanks gonna watch the pierro eyes . hope i can implent them to eevee. and it more happend because of my currency work . they arent really friendly or helpfull and because of the stress with the discussion after 25 minutes i fainted. nut the dokter said to take things easy now so i can recover
@cptken Thanks for the [positive] feedback 👊
The community here is great and so rare for me to see such a positive community on the internet of all places.
Isn’t that the TRUTH! Well said.
@williamatics Oh ok, cool. Sorry I’ve asked so many “press 1 or 2” questions I got confused. I’m glad to know you’re learning Blender as a hobby interest 👍
Also thanks for filling out the correct survey 🙇🏻♂️
@smurfmier1985 You’re right. Lampel and I have been talking recently about how “hidden” classes workshops and livestreams are. It should be relatively simple for our webdev to expose them much better in the near future. At the beginning of 2018 I kinda liked that it was less known – like when a big band does an intimate bar show – but at this point it’s silly that so few know about them.
PS: I could possibly do a more generic “hard surface” class where sci-fi robots are welcome. In the meantime, have you watched this course?

@theluthier not yet, but it’s verrrryyyy high on my watch list!!! 😃 First gonna do intro to retopo, mesh modeling bootcamp and intro to hard surface modeling, got to learn the basics first right? 😉
I was thinking Star Wars x-wing with R2D2, which is sorta vehicle, and sci-fi, and robot. All in one 😬 But a more generic hard surface workshop would be pretty nice, then everyone can choose for them self what they want to make. Might even speak to more people than a workshop with a specific topic like ‘vehicle’, something for everyone 😊
@theluthier Letting you know I filled out the correct questionnaire. Whoops!
@theluthier Kent I just also filled the questionnaire, hopefully it went through.
Thanks a lot for the live streams they are just better than ever, plus in this BC1-1808 class I think the individual class threads worked just brilliantly. They gave somehow some extra motivation, that twice thought before posting whether my model is good enough as the schoolfellows will visit my thread and so it needs to be good 🙂
@yukinoh1989 just reading that you fainted??, your commitment is really awesome, but just remember the most important is the health, everything comes after. Wishing all the best and let’s meet in October!
@csehz hey thanks . i sure will. but it was mostly because of all stress from work . i had a discussion but it went out of hand . and i felt really irritated. mostly since no matter what i say at work nothing change. they all stay unfriendly what is not fun to work like that. after several minutes it appeared i fainted . too high hearts rate blood pressure and the muscle at the Brain section where too (not sure if its the right word : tense) along with too much activitie on my Brain. that is wat the doctor recomended to take things easy for some time. still not that i mat not work on projects but i needed better sleep and at least 1 hour or relax without looking at anything or thinking too much about my work. hardest problem is that i take work with me home and i should try to avoid that mostly .
