A house created for the Blender Mesh Modeling Bootcamp, I colored them in a weird way just to differentiate the various objects from one another.

Did  you know that Blender can do this automatically (different colors for different Objects)?

No, I did not, thank you for the information.

I did the puppy for the  Blender Mesh Modeling Bootcamp, it didn’t come up as clean as I would have wanted, so there is definitely room for improvement, but all things considered, I am satisfied with it.

Wireframe mode also supports 1 color per object. Super helpful when needed.

A wall of mailboxes I made from this course. I am going to make some swords next.

I know I said I was going to make swords, but I couldn’t find interesting references so I made this Colt buntline.

The main body isn’t topologically correct, but I am satisfied with it.

Your skills are improving little by little. Keep it up!

Wow, you are working hard and really making tons of progress! I really love that temple. Are the hieroglyphs part of the geometry? Asking because you mentioned it getting to be a load on your computer. If it’s geometry I think once you get comfortable creating height/normal/displacement maps you can bake that detail off and (hopefully) lower the load.

Looking forward to seeing more progress on all your work!

The hieroglyphs are indeed part of the geometry, I made it that way because I don’t really know how to use materials and normal maps in particular and when I made the temple I was focusing on other things. My computer is at least 5 years old and was not built for 3d modeling so Blender crashes frequently and things get really hard to work on if the scene gets too dense, that’s why I am now doing smaller and more manageable things.

Thank you for your support, I appreciate it.

I made a grenade launcher, the trigger is not there and I messed up the proportions a little bit since I have neither measurements nor front views of the object in question.

I made the helmet the rebels wore in star wars, It misses a few details, tho.
