@williamatics I am liking how this is looking. Looks like you hit a road block with nodes. Don’t worry, that means you are on the brink of something. I understand the frustration wholeheartedly. Keep at it. I don’t stop digging until my shovel breaks or until I find the treasure. But there are some days where I have to stop and breathe and take a fridge break. Then come back at it.

@williamatics Your sword looks cool all metallic and shiny! It’s a bummer to hear about the struggle the dust has been. If it were me, I would try to concentrate dust in the crevices of the model. You could use the AO node for this similar to how I used it in this video.

Thank you @paulhaynes1955 @frikkr @blanchsb and @theluthier for all the encouragement.  Now that the class is over, I will continue working on my own projects, but not before completing a few courses with my four-step process.  My four-step process is as follows:

1. Watch the course from start to finish.

2. Do what the instructor did in the course, re-watching the lessons if necessary.

3. Redo step 2, but make it my own.

4. Make my own thing using the techniques taught in the course.
