        @thecabbagedetective I use duplicate linked fairly often but never learned the hotkey. Great tip! Thanks for sharing 🙇🏻‍♂️

        And it looks like you’re going for the record of most primitives in a primitive scene. Do it up! 🤘

          @theluthier The teacher has become… the taught…

          Nah in all seriousness glad to be of help! I’m more than happy to wear that title, believe it or not but I had much grander plans for my primitives exercise involving an army but I decided that yeah… that’s probably too much haha.

            @thecabbagedetective Aaron I always wanted to mention once that you are so talented, selecting grandiose projects and working very hard, while having just less than one year experience in Blender? You will be a star after another one 🙂

            Great progress as always, it is nice to visit your BC1-1808 room, great atmosphere here

              @csehz Well damn, that’s mighty kind of you, thanks! I hope you’re right, this is the biggest thing going for me. Glad to hear about the atmosphere as well, nice to know this place is inviting.

                  @yukinoh1989 Why ta very much! As I’ve said before lighting was a real weakness of mine so I’m striving to improve, glad to hear it’s coming along nicely! And unfortunately no, though it’s a cool idea. Brought up the idea of streaming my creations to a friend and they seemed receptive of the idea so maybe that’s something I should try? Could be fun! Also it’s a bit difficult to pinpoint how long I’ve spent so far but if I include today’s work I’d say probably 3-4 hours or so.

                    Day 3 done!

                    So here’s my third – and presumably last – medieval house for this render. Certainly better than the second house. This is what I primarily   ̶s̶t̶o̶l̶e̶  ̶f̶r̶o̶m̶   was inspired by and made a few changes.

                    Also here’s the camera angle for which the scene shall be taking place:

                    Copy pasted a couple buildings as you can see, a good showcase of where Alt+D is really damn useful. Hopefully I’ll be done tomorrow, just gotta fill in the blanks essentially. Hope you had an enjoyable gander and good luck to you all!

                      @thecabbagedetective I love how this is coming together! I like the low camera angle too, though I did notice that it looks a bit like your holding your camera askew, the slope of the street seems fairly steep. Great work Aaron, looking forward to some colors 😀

                          @smurfmier1985 Ta very much, and yeah the angled camera is intentional. Providing all goes well it’ll make sense when it’s finished!

                              @thecabbagedetective Of course Suzanne is a primitive.  You don’t need to go into edit mode to make her, right?

                                @williamatics True, it’s just I remember looking at some of the older primitives-only homework with Suzanne in it and it was considered a bit of a point of contention.
