Thank you both very much. I’m very much looking forward to the course update next month!!! I’ll be hopping on all those fundamentals again as soon as they’re released!!!

Also, I’ll do much more experimenting with bevel & crease, and adjusting my stack order. I may not be able to break the supporting edge loop addiction completely, but hopefully I’ll be able to bring it down to something more responsible…

Thanks very much for your responses. Being somewhat new to the whole ‘optimal topology/retopology’ process, the great Google oracle has been unable to find an answer like ‘nothing’, even though I suspected that to be the case; so thanks for that Martin. And Omar, I greatly appreciate your reply. Although my OCD and finely honed ability to ‘over think’ everything will likely persist, I can at least put this to rest and move on to something else inconsequential to worry about. ^^
