I’m wondering if there are optimal settings so that I don’t have to use Z brush for sculpting instead of Blender. Blender can sculpt well with usually up to 4 million vertices. Z brush can handle 80 million which is a HUGE difference. How do I get more sculpting capability out of blender? How do I not crash my computer?

The better your computer, the more Vertices Blender can handle without crashing, but it is not (and probably will never be) close to what ZBrush can handle.

Using a Multiresolution Modifier helps, because it can handle more Vertices than Dynamic Topology and Remesh.

You can also break up large models into separate Objects and Sculpt on those.
