      @theluthier I’m wondering why you first select Piero’s right half and then invert this selection before assigning them to a new vertex group instead of selecting directly Piero’s left half.

        I think I wanted only left-of-center vertices, excluding the verts exactly in the center. Technically those verts are neither right nor left. But I don’t remember this being crucially important overall.
