Why didn’t you initially create Quad Junctions on the Hammer?

So you’ll end up with the possibliaty to create a cyclic edge loop around all outer edges? That would be more convinient and educative to show in the video. Like you mentioned in the video that you’re not really telling new things.

If I’m understanding you correctly, that sounds like it would work too! The only note is that you would need some edges to cross whenever you have a sharp corner, as a completely cyclic loop would be smoothed out when subdivided.
