What is the best laptop for rendering and animation?

Hmm..that’s kinda like asking which electric car is best for towing a camper. I haven’t rendered on a laptop in a long time, but the same general principle applies: More RAM + more CPU cores + higher CPU GHz = faster rendering.

I am so new in this, an absolute beginner, and I was wondering which tools do I actually need to start creating animation.

Really you just need a computer! As long as it’s less than 5 years old, it should run Blender well enough to get you going.
