This video seems to have some issues where I’m hearing popping noises and the audio cadence feels inconsistent. I’m about 4 minutes in and it’s been happening through the video, but is especially noticeable once we got to Blender. I even tried downloading the video and viewed it in both QuickTime and VLC and got the same result. (I’m on an M1 Max MacBook Pro, btw)

Is this just on my end?

Another way to phrase it: it feels like I’m on a video call where it’s lagging and keeps playing the audio rapidly to try and catch up

Uff yeah, it’s not just you, there are a lot of audio glitches. Hopefully it’s just that video and Wayne threw away that microphone. Sorry for the inconvenience. Perhaps Wayne can fix it with some editing later.

Sorry Scarlett.  I just checked the original edit and the popping is in there.
That was recorded with an older version of OBS which seemed to suffer a few audio glitches – there isn’t much I can do about it I’m afraid.

Unless you have a time machine?  I hope you say yes.
If not, I will ask you again sometime in the past.

No worries! All the other videos are fine, so I figured I’d ask in case it was just some weird encoding issue.

Maybe I’ll learn Blender’s python scripting and see if I can get a time machine functionality going. Does that earn extra credit? 🙂
