If I delete the default cube, how do I get it back or add another object to the scene?

Click “Add” in the top header
    Select any “Mesh” type

“Add” is also available via hotkey by typing Shift + A on your keyboard

The object you choose to add will appear at your 3D cursor.  Objects are listed in the Outliner.

Check out the video below to see this in action.

      Hello Amberkelly

You can Add object in different ways.

      First Way :

      1. Go to “Add” in top of window
      2. Select that mesh that you want [ex. Cube]

      Second Way :

      1. Shortcut of First Way is “Shift+A”. Then you’ll we this mesh menu in the screen.

i hope my answers helped you 🙂

      Merry Christmas

If you ever want to add a second object and have that independent of the first, go to Object Mode, hit Shift + A and select your object from the list. But if you want it dependent, stay in the Edit Mode and click Shift + A.

Alternatively, in Object Mode, left-click to select first object, next hold Shift and left-click to select another object (or more), then hit Ctrl + J to join all the selected objects.
