      Not sure my machine will handle 2.81, do you mind if I use 2.80 instead?

        I think that if your machine handles 2.80, it can handle 2.81 and 2.82, etc…

          Sure you can use 2.80 if you’d like. Models are easily transferred between blender versions.

          What is it about 2.81 that you’re machine can’t handle?

            It’s my graphic card. Blender 2.80 frequently crashes on me. It’s good because I’m learning ctrl+s often. 🙂

                I think the issue is related to the Auto Perspective mode in Orbit & Pan settings of the Navigation preferences. I disabled that the other day and so far (fingers crossed) Blender hasn’t crashed on me.
