I’ve noticed that a couple of the values he uses are drastically different than what works on my version & system. For instance, he adds Emission and sets it to 5. When I set it to 5, it completely blows out the screen and is extremely overexposed. HOWEVER, if I set it to 0.5, it’s much closer to his result. It seems like it’s a matter of where the decimal lands. Is this due to a change in Blender since this course was filmed or is it something on my end?

        Hi @jecho ,

It’s probably a difference in the Blender Version.

We always recommend to use the same Blender Version as is used in a Course.

Also, never  just copy numbers, but use your eyes to get the result you want.

          Hi Martin,

Thank you for the response. I figured it was a version thing. And yes, I always have a play with the numbers after using the ones in the tutorial as a starting point. Where’s the fun in just copying? We are artists after all! 🙂
