Uv Mapping not showing on axe file

HELP! I’m trying to do the unwrapping on the axe file, but I can’t get it to work.  When I tell it to unwrap the UV editor window has a blank white box.  I tried unwrapping in a new project with the monkey mesh and it worked fine.  I don’t know what I’m doing wrong/different!  I’m attaching screenshots of both the axe and the monkey after I hit unwrap.  Please tell me what I’m doing wrong!

Hey Anne, those squares are the UV’s after I reset them in that file. you’ll need to set up new UV seams in order to unwrap this. Good luck!
