I am having problems turning the sides of the head flat at the beginning of the video I set it to pivot to unmask but when I turn it the side turns slightly upwards instead of flat when you do it and when I push it in edges from top to bottom stick out instead of going in. Now I don’t know if it because of the current version or what but it acting weird

        Hi Clifford,

It might be, because you haven’t Applied the Scale, before going into Sculpt Mode.

Kent Scaled the sphere (Cube) in Edit Mode to make it 2 by 2 by 2 meter, but you have maybe Scaled it in Object Mode, or filled in the 2 meter in the Dimensions.

It may also be practice, practice, practice. Kent makes it look easy but it is in fact hard, so much subtlety goes into it. It would be helpful if you include a video screen grab so we can see and better judge what is going on.

Update: So I used the elastic transform mode to make the head flat when I did that there were dents in my mash when I went into edit mode. I took a look inside the mesh and it was really stretched out from the inside. So what I did was I took the faces and deleted them and gride fill them which seemed to fix it. But thank you for your advice. Also how would I attach a video file so I can show case any future problems.

Hey Clifford, if you didn’t check your Scale, you might keep running into problems…
