The hole in the statue that I cannot close

While working on the sculpture, a small hole occurred. As seen in the video, I tried everything I knew, but it does not close. It is not visually disturbing, but will this hinder my work in the future? (Will it cause errors in the texture – lighting etc. phase)

Heya! It doesn’t really look like a hole to me. It looks like a mask…though it doesn’t seem to be actually masking anything. Try Alt-M to clear masks to see if it goes away.

Yay! I’m glad that worked! If you no longer want all the geometry you added while brushing over it with Dyntopo enabled you could give it a couple swipes with the Simplify brush. That one spot of dense geometry might behave strangely as you proceed.
