The film grain stymied me

At 8:19 when I send the Texture node to the Viewer, my view turns completely black instead of the cloud texture I created in the Material properties.  Can you please help?

I prepared a screenshot but see now I cannot upload an image here?  I guess I missed how I should better communicate my question.

Also, to zoom out of the viewer, we hit V.  How do I zoom back in?

You can upload your screenshot now, just not in the first post, when asked directly under a lesson (it is a known bug, that the developers are working on).

Zoom Out: V, Zoom in : ALT+V…you can also go to View in ther N-Panel.

That’s an easy one; you didn’t tell Blender which Texture to use:

@Dougpen you will need to select the texture tab in the properties panel

Funny thing is that tab does not show up at all.

@Dougpen make sure your in object mode, the texture tab is not available in edit mode.
