a question:
The purpose of the MCH BONES in the bouncing ball Is for display purposes
 only?

this is the use of MCH BONES?

Hi Evya,

Thanks for the kind words.

Yes.  The mechanism bones (MCH) in the bouncing ball are used to override the display.

The can be used for many other purposes too, and the name MCH doesn’t do anything special.  It’s just a helpful name for the rigger.

(the animator should never see them so it shouldn’t matter to them what they are called)
