start animation at frame 0 or frame 1?

      hi chris,

      i am little confused about which frame to start the animation on. i had thought that blender was following film animation protocol. film cannot have a frame 0, it must start physically at frame 1. i notice too that if i load the Factory Settings into both Blender 2.79 and 2.80 beta, the playhead defaults to frame 1. 

      the shortcut shift + left arrow returns the playhead to frame 1, not frame 0, though arguably this is determined by whatever the ‘Start’ parameter is and can easily be changed.

      i would be most grateful to know what the right way is or if there is a choice, then what factors should influence that choice.
