Space Station Challenge 2021 WIP – Titan

Just trying to sketch out the basic shape of my station for the challenge; will add more pods to the main structure beyond the ring, but wanted to get this started!

Update: haven’t done an incredible amount yet (full time job AND puppies) but little by little adding some detail. Since I went for a big massive station, I’m not going to focus on a super amount of tiny details, but there will be some!

Still working on the main array details! I think I’ve got the control pod at the center done and two of the promenades and pods completed — 3 more to go (that’s three more pods and promenades!) and I can work on the grav ring and biosphere.

Update! I think I’m pretty well done the main hub (control center, pods, and promenades). Here’s a look at the last couple pods and then the whole structure (next I’m onto the grav ring and biosphere):

Completed the biosphere and started on the grav ring! The supports and axes are done, just need to add some details to the ring itself (have some piping there already, but need a bit more).

Okay… I think modelling is done. Now it’s time to tackle materials (ooooh boy!).

Thanks so much, @adrian2301! I am all done with modelling as of that last update, and have saved enough time to learn a bit more about materials and see what I can do with that!
