Socket Settings?

Hi,

Is there settings for the sockets to make them a little bigger or give better contrast in colors? I have a hard time distinguishing the colors of the sockets at times and would like some contrast in them, if possible.

Hi Brad,

I’m afraid those are hard coded.

Maybe there is an Addon that let’s you change them, but I doubt that.

You can zoom in on the Nodes, that will also make the sockets larger.

And you will probably not rely on the different colors much….

When they changed the Displacement socket in the Material Output Node from  grey to purple, many advanced users didn’t notice that and continued to plug Values into what is now a Vector socket (that might also be due to ‘change blindnesss’, to be fair)!

Thanks Martin. Yeah I have been zooming in but that becomes a bit of a pain when the nodes start spreading out. I guess if it works don’t question it’s colors…8^]

As Spikey said, you can’t change the input/output sockets, 
You can change things like the header color and the background color, but not the sockets.
