Things popped up, didn’t get very much done, but here’s a small update.

Not sure I’m set on the lip color, might desaturate it more.  Not even sure about the skin color, either, maybe a touch too orange.  Eh, we’ll see what shakes out with the rest of the elements.

Happy Belated Thanksgiving, everyone!  I’m thankful for this wonderful community.

Here’s a closeup of the lips, which look better after adding some detail.

It’s mildly annoying to see my two best monitors are slightly off in color to each other, so yay.  Everything looks reddish on my best monitor while on my second best it’s more orangy.  Oh well, that’s technology for you, right?

@silentheart00 great work. That are some nice details on the lips. For me the most inner is more orange tintes. And outer part is more reddish colored for me. It looks really good. I look forward to the rest

Alopecia, anyone?  =]

Desaturated the lips just a touch to have a better balance with the eyes.  Might go for a blue-black hairstyle to help balance out the overall warmness of the skin.

@silentheart00 what does Alopecia means? Love how those eyes turned out. Really great work.

@yukinoh1989 Alopecia areata is a medical term meaning an autoimmune disease where the body attacks hair follicles.  In extreme cases, a person can have no hair on their bodies at all.  The person affected is otherwise healthy, just hairless.

Curly hair is really difficult to draw if you’ve never drawn it before.  I’ll give it a few more tries, see if I can get anything I like, but might just give him his straight hair like in the original concept.  I thought I should challenge myself and it would be different from Chaos’s hair type, but man, it’s proving difficult, heh.  So instead, here’s some eyebrows and eyelashes.

Sigh…. I can’t do hair apparently.  Well, I’ll take a break from that and work on the more detailed elements, like earrings.  Hazard has his own set of earrings because of story reasons lol.  Oh, and freckles!  Why not?

Maybe he’ll just be bald…

I’m sure some time away from it will help, you’re talented enough you can do it! Just take a break, play some horizon zero dawn, and come back to it with fresh eyes 😊
