Separating Objects

      When I press “P” and separate the face, there’s this orange border around the object and I can’t do anything with it. I try selecting it nothing happens. Any ideas?

        I think where I’m going wrong is I don’t know when I’m in edit or object mode!

          Hey @midnightstories , that would do it! You can always check what mode you’re in at the top left corner of the 3d View. Happy modeling!

            cheers ! I’m actually attempting my first production work for Blender now, a sci fi hangar.
