Sense of scale – wip question

Hey Cookies,

Yesterday evening I worked on an image where the idea is to create a massive sense of scale, yet something feels off and I can’t quite put my finger on it.  I want to continue to work on it tonight, but thought, why not do some brainpicking first.. Anyone some advice to give? Much appreciated 🙂

It’s a cool idea. Reminds me of some concept posters Nasa released some time ago about sight seeing throughout the galaxy.

What jumps out to me is the difference in blur from foreground, mid to background. The mid ground looks softer than the planet in the background which doesn’t make sense. You might want to try bringing the background elements into sharper focus and see how that plays out.
