cube2.pngFirst attempt at Modeling a Sci-Fi Crate. I did a few things wrong also, Does anyone know whey S Y 0 doesn’t work when try straight out lines? Or S X 0 when you hold it down? It just breaking my cube then straighten my lines

                Hi Sabrina,

                You’re doing great!

When Scaling (or Rotating), the Pivot point that is being used is extremely important:

make sure you choose something appropriate when trying to straighten out Edges:

2nd attempt at the sci-fi cube. Much better with some materials although couldn’t get the effect that I wanted might come back redue it when I learn more about it. I wanted to make the iris on the eye to shine bright or have glow effect.

                  Also thank you Martin!-ficube finished.png

Looking nice. You can watch the PotHead course for the light you want to achieve, specifically this lesson:

Thank you so much! I will have a look at that. I might just come back to all of theses and reduce them bit later after I finish this course. I just started doing my Modeling a Low Poly Room I’m not sure if my coach is to small though? Although its no where finished yet. Lounge2.png
