Regarding the purpose of Length Modifier

Hi,

I followed the instruction mentioned and got the result as shown in your video, but i don’t understand the purpose of the length modifier and the purpose of changing the Start and End Factor and how changing them and creating keyframe resulted in the animation. I would appreciate if someone could explain this.

It is a way to reveal the entire stroke by keyframing the start and end parameters. This is a quick “cheat” for revealing a stroke. The purpose is so that you don’t have to visualize the entire bolt and draw every key frame. The purpose is to make it easier to animate a lightning bolt.
