Hi @jlampel, can a rig with a Bendy Bone be exported to Unity? If not, then just like how we baked the control bone animations to the mesh bones before exporting to Unity, is it possible to bake the Bendy Bone animations to the mesh before exporting to Unity?

There is no way to export bendy bones to Unity, but you can still bake them just like in this course if they’re just controlling the mesh deforming bones and not assigned to the mesh itself. If the mesh is directly deformed by the bendy bones, I don’t think there’s a way to bake it aside from using a mesh cache which is extremely costly for performance.

Thank you @jlampel. From what I’ve seen so far, I’ve noticed that Bendy Bones are applied directly to meshes for better flexibility and the control bones are used to further control Bendy Bones.

Yep! In general, I probably wouldn’t use them for game animations and would just use a chain of regular bones instead since that will export nicely.
