Only a suggestion…

So, for me personally, I hit a major wall when it came to the UV Unwrapping portion of this course, and I mean hard! I have such a huge knowledge gap when it comes to UV Unwrapping, so it would have been awesome – for me – to see a notation or hear Jonathan say, “if you’re new to UV Unwrapping, stop this video here and check out this video tutorial on UV Unwrapping,” or something like that. I had to stop this tutorial and search for a video on what UV Unwrapping is… 

Again, just me and how my brain works, so not everyone will need a prompt. But man, that would have been great. And Jonathan, love you man, but SLOW DOWN!!!!!

Hey, thanks for the feedback! It’s really good for me to know where the sticking points are. If you have any specific questions feel free to drop them here. Also, I’m just now finishing up the materials & shading fundamentals – after that will be texturing and I’ll do my best to go slow through the UV unwrapping portion 👍

No problem! I have to remind myself that these courses are Blender courses, not 3D courses per se, and there’s an unspoken assumption that the user has previous 3D experience, whether a beginner or advanced. I feel like I am being unfair, so I wanted to mention it. Since I’ve been studying up on UVs and UV Unwrapping so I can finish the course… Thanks Jonathan!
