The divisions refer to the main resolution divisions, which is in the Smoke settings at the top. The subdivisions and noise refer to the divisions found in the Smoke High Resolution panel a bit farther down.

unfortunately i don´t see any of those controls. the settings that i found in Smoke High resolution are: Resolution, Flow sampling – Noise Method – strength.

The High Resolution Resolution is what I mean by subdivisions, apologies for the confusion (there were just too many things called “resolution”). The Strength setting is the strength of the noise method, which is what I’m referencing in the video.
