Not seeing Camera Properties

When I click on the Camera in the Outliner, I should see that Green camera Icon below.  I don’t.  I double checked with a different 2D Animation scene loaded up.  Nothing.  It’s a head scratcher.  Any experience with this issue?  Only thing different is I am using 4.0.2.  What am I missing?  Same thing happens with a fresh install on a different computer.

Can you post some screenshots? It does sound like a bug but there might be something else going on. Even better if you can post a screen recording. Check if the camera isn’t locked or has the selectivity icon disabled in the outliner.

I heard a few cases where opening a file that was made with an earlier Version and then opened in 4.0 had missing UI elements…

you are possibly still in draw mode – the default mode when loading 2D animation. Toggle into Object mode, and select the camera again.

I swear, thought I tried it all until “object mode” was mentioned.  I swear I saw edit mode in the video, so I didn’t bother with it.  This took care of it.  Thank you very much.
