Not really a question but I was playing around with the Roll Bone settings and found out the Recalculate Roll has some cool options. You can roll the axis of one bone to the direction you want then select the other bone and select the correct bone last so its the active bone and use Recalculate Roll->Other->Active Bone and the other bone’s axes will copy the direction.
Another way is select the bones and use Recalculate Roll->Other->View Axis which just sets the Z direction of the axis to your view.
Recalculate Roll->Other->Cursor sets the Z-direction of the axis to your 3D cursor.
And lastly you can use any option under Recalculate Roll->Other->Postive/Negative to line up the axes directions and use Set Roll.
