No HDRi shadows in Eevee?

It sounds like there’s no way to get shadows from an HDRi in Eevee. Is that the case? I’ll need to add a sun lamp for sure?

Mention Jonathon Lampel to see if he has anything so say on this, but I would bet that HDRI is for cycles only.

@blanchsb I do get notifications on any question underneath a lesson though, so that’s only needed if someone starts a conversation from the forum. I appreciate your help! 

To answer the question, mostly yes. You can sort of get shadows via irradiance volumes, but the severe limitations of that will be shown in a later lesson. I’d recommend using a sun lamp like you mentioned.
