I rigged the boxer model for the character rigging exercise after watching the tutorials, then looked at the exercise picture. It was different from mine. Can Anyone tell me whether my rigged model is good or not?

Hey Oth, it looks like the joints are really close but aren’t quite where things should naturally bend. Try basing their location off of where the joints are in a real dog’s skeleton:

Beyond that though it’s really hard to tell without seeing it posed.

I agree with Jonathan. The joints are a bit off.

A dog’s skeleton in not much different than our own. If we get on the floor on all fours, with feet and hands facing forward, the joints are the same and bend in the same direction. The only difference is the “foot” bones of a dog never touch the floor. They stand on their toes.

            Good luck!
