In Blender 3.4, there is no more Transfer Attribute available in geo nodes. How can I make this work? Appreciate anyone with a solution to my problem. Thx

        Yes indeed Samawi,

It has been replaced by three other Nodes:

As there is no backwards compatibility, maybe we should stick to a maximum version 3.3 LTS…

We will have to ask Kent. I willl post a link to this question in the ‘Questions about the CubicityAsset Library’ thread, just in case.

Man, blender develops so fast I’m sure at this point the devs take on bets as to who can make recorded videos obsolete faster.

Good call @spikeyxxx. I agree that we should stick with Blender 3.3 LTS for Cubicity assets. I will add an FAQ on the exercise page about this.

                    Nice find @maclaud,
@theluthier, when opening the original .blend in v3.4, the Transfer Attribute node is replaced with a Sample Nearest Surface node, and everything seems to work as expected.

Sure Adrian, but not the other way around.

Yeah! But the question arose because of using later version of Blender.
It may warrant a video edit “for later versions other than the one used in the course”

It’s just that for Cubicity Assets, Kent wants to stick to 3.3 LTS.
