Mature content in gallery

Hi all,

just a quick question to the site admins: I have a project that I marked mature because it contains corpses and I published it as WIP but it doesn’t appear anywhere. So does the mature checkbox basically make your project invisible?

Because if that is the case, I don’t really get the point of being able to publish a project that’s marked mature, if it isn’t going to appear anywhere anyway. Or am I just blind and missed something?

It’s interesting that I see it in your profile but I’m not seeing it in the gallery. As far as I know, we show mature content in the gallery, just with a different cover and a “are you sure” button if a user is opted out or a student. 

Any ideas on this one @dbrown ?

@jlampel Hello again, sorry to bring this up again but are there any updates on this? Because I did see a project in the gallery that had a CGC overlay and I had to click it to actually view the image but for some reason mine doesn’t appear. I’ve finished the project, but since it doesn’t appear in the gallery, I don’t get any views or feedback on it. 🙁

I’m not a citizen anymore, maybe that’s why?

Hey, thanks for poking me about this! 

It shows up just fine when I search for it, and your citizen status shouldn’t make any difference.

When I search by category though, it doesn’t appear. I’ll log this as a bug. In the meantime I’ve left it as not mature, which apparently does cause it to show correctly.

Ok, I learned that you can opt in to mature content by going to your dashboard and then app preferences. That should do it! 

My account is technically part of a school for testing purposes, so that’s why I couldn’t find it earlier.
