making cookies – short animation

I thought I would try doing a short animation using the stuff I learned in the last two years.   Definitely learned I should have planned better.    It is only lit with an hdri, so any lighting advice, etc. would be appreciated.  Also some of the objects appear to be in the air, when they are really on the lower mesh.  For the animation I used some simple armatures and animated a couple of lattices (big mistake).  I also ended up with a lot of particle systems and shape keys.  Thanks for taking thee time to look at it.
