@svandegrift I was using a Mac up until the end of last year and it was decent enough. The problem was that it was a 2011 Macbook Pro and the motherboard was crashing…….often. So I just upgraded to Windows and got a supported graphics card.
I still want to go back to Mac for certain things and I don’t think that should matter too much for you. I didn’t have many problems with unity but I never made any huge game scenes either. Someone here in the forums told me that the head honcho of blender still uses a Mac so I don’t think having one is a bad idea.
I read that there is a possibility for the brand new Mac pros to have the ability to use an NVIDIA graphics card but they are kinda pricey and I would recommend doing research to see if that is an option if you are interested.
Post back here after you upgrade and let me know how well the new mac works. I am curious and interested.
